Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Ascension Via Christi. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans to aid in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the best possible care for patients.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts within 3 months of hire date.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech, NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification, ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography, or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography or Computed Tomography.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous CT experience.
