Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Edmond Public Schools. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the appearance and preservation of our facilities through painting and surface coating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply various coatings, including latex, solvent, lacquer, and epoxy.
  • Schedule facilities for routine painting needs.
  • Perform drywall finishing and repair.
  • Recommend coatings and supplies for district needs.
  • Estimate costs of painting projects.
  • Procure materials and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Communicate with the maintenance supervisor on activities and progress.
  • Comply with local, state, and national building and safety codes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment:
