Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Physical Therapist I, you will work closely with our experienced team of physical therapists to provide evidence-based evaluation and treatment of patients with a variety of conditions, including adult orthopedics, sports medicine, post-operative conditions, and chronic pain.

Responsibilities
  • Administer diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patient mobility and related impairments
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient function and mobility
  • Teach and supervise graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents
  • Participate in clinical program development and management
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records of patient procedures and progress
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina
  • BLS certification
  • No prior experience required
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. The selected candidate will work at our hospital-based Ambulatory Care Center PT clinic in Chapel Hill. Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
