Job Title: Lifeguard (Part-Time)

We are seeking a skilled Lifeguard to join our team at the YMCA of Central Massachusetts. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our members and guests in the pool and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision for the pool and surrounding areas
  • Maintain the pool and surrounding area, ensuring it is safe for all YMCA members
  • Document and report any safety concerns or broken equipment in the pool and surrounding areas
  • Attend all staff trainings and maintain appropriate certifications for the position
  • Other duties as assigned by the Aquatics Director
Requirements:
  • Must be currently lifeguard certified and able to present lifeguard certification
  • Must be at least 16 years old
