Role Overview:
The FOX Studio Lot is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Barista to enhance our team in Los Angeles, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare coffee beverages using various espresso machines.
- Create smoothies, juices, and other specialty drinks.
- Assist in serving baked goods and healthy grab-and-go options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café and assigned areas.
- Ensure all café equipment and utensils are cleaned and maintained.
- Adhere to health and safety standards as mandated by local regulations.
- Process cash, dining cards, and credit card transactions accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Conduct bank reconciliations.
- Input catering and craft services sales orders into the POS system and finalize guest checks.
- Manage delivery and pickup orders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with POS systems.
- Prior experience as a Barista or Cashier, preferably in a café, restaurant, or hotel setting.
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience are essential.
- Strong background in customer service.
- A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and perform bending and stooping tasks.
- Capability to lift heavy items.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
