Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team, responsible for performing MRI scans, communicating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients and others prior to admittance into the MRI scanning room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are MRI-compatible.
  • Position patients accurately for all MR procedures, utilizing knowledge of scanning protocols and anatomy.
  • Administer contrast material safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Communicate with patients and families, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  • Document patient information, exam results, and other relevant data in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree with completion of an accredited radiology program.
  • 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology, with enrollment in MRI preferred.
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARMIT or ARRT) and SCRSQA registration.
  • AHA/BLS cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
