Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a positive and empowering experience.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines to deliver high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in acute care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) oral and written communication skills.
Work Environment

This role is based in a patient care setting, with the potential for occasional lifting of objects up to 25 pounds.
