We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Fresenius Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced vascular access environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including pre-procedure, during procedure, and post-procedure care.
- Assist physicians during procedures, maintaining a sterile technique.
- Administer medications and IV moderate sedation as directed by physicians.
- Perform point-of-care laboratory testing and IV insertion as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate with facility management to ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
- Current RN licensure and ACLS certification.
- 6 years of related experience, preferably in Ambulatory Surgical Center/Vascular Access, Cardiac Cath Lab, or a combination of ASC, surgical, Interventional Radiology, and ICU/CCU or emergency department experience.
- Proficient in IV insertion, cardiac rhythm recognition, and medical database software.

Day-to-day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with patients, facility staff, and physicians. The position provides direct patient care that regularly involves heavy lifting and moving of patients, and assisting with ambulation. Equipment aids and/or coworkers may provide assistance.
The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious, contagious diseases/materials and radiation. May be required to wear protective gear in procedure rooms for extended periods of time.
