Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Addiction Medicine Specialist

Glenbeigh, a leading addiction treatment center, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Rock Creek, OH. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients struggling with substance use disorders.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to work with our inpatient population, providing comprehensive addiction treatment and support. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience working as a PMHNP in the Behavioral Health field, with a strong background in working with patients with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with leadership and support teams to develop and maintain an integrated primary care and mental health model of care for patients with substance use disorders
  • Provide psychiatric direct services daily, including check-ins, initial evaluations, follow-ups, and response to patients in crisis
  • Train and educate staff members on psychiatric/mental health topics and other clinical evidence-based practices
  • Participate in research opportunities and assist with clinical program development
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - REQUIRED
  • OH license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • DEA (or able to obtain prior to start) - REQUIRED
  • Completed Buprenorphine training requirement prescribing (or in process) - REQUIRED
  • 3+ years of work experience as Psychiatric NP working with substance abuse disorders (not including RN experience) - REQUIRED
