CoreCivic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in an institutional setting. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to inmates/residents, working closely with our medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care and treatment to inmates/residents, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Attend sick call with the physician, prepare examining rooms and equipment, and document medical records as required.
Operate pill call, dispense medication, and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
Maintain the security and confidentiality of all medical records, adhering to CoreCivic's strict policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Graduate from an approved school of nursing with a certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Must be licensed in the state of employment and possess a valid driver's license.
Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
