About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for the overall safety, quality, and performance of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations within the site, including meeting customer satisfaction targets and ensuring timely delivery of medications.
  • Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness and make recommendations for therapy changes as needed.
  • Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure performance objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement quality initiatives and process improvements to enhance customer experience and reduce costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal laws related to pharmacy practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the corporate legal team to maintain licensure of the pharmacy and its staff.
  • Align policies and initiatives with requirements and demands of accrediting/licensing bodies.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies to drive enhanced performance and growth within the team.
  • Implement change and/or develop new processes as required to provide ability to better service customers and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Doctorate or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Active/Good Standing Pharmacist license in domicile state.
  • 1 year Staff Pharmacist experience within Amazon Pharmacy.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations surrounding pharmacy practices and patient safety.
  • Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage detail and prioritize tasks effectively.
