- Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness and make recommendations for therapy changes as needed.
- Lead a team of pharmacists and technicians, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure performance objectives are met.
- Develop and implement quality initiatives and process improvements to enhance customer experience and reduce costs.
- Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal laws related to pharmacy practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the corporate legal team to maintain licensure of the pharmacy and its staff.
- Align policies and initiatives with requirements and demands of accrediting/licensing bodies.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies to drive enhanced performance and growth within the team.
- Implement change and/or develop new processes as required to provide ability to better service customers and reduce costs.
- Doctorate or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
- Active/Good Standing Pharmacist license in domicile state.
- 1 year Staff Pharmacist experience within Amazon Pharmacy.
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations surrounding pharmacy practices and patient safety.
- Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage detail and prioritize tasks effectively.
