Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apparel Hanger to join our sales floor team at Alabama Goodwill Industries Inc. As an Apparel Hanger, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hanging and Merchandising: Hang and merchandise apparel on sales floor racks, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized display.
  • Quality Control: Inspect apparel for quality and condition, removing any items that do not meet our standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that all merchandise is properly stocked and rotated.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales floor goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in inventory management and quality control.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
