We are seeking a skilled Nocturnist Physician to join our team at Medicorp, Inc. dba Physician Empire.
Job SummaryThe Nocturnist Physician will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a 300-bed hospital with a 20-bed open ICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Internal Medicine and be comfortable working in a fast-paced nocturnal environment.
Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients in the hospital setting, with a focus on nocturnal shifts.
- Work collaboratively with a team of physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in on-call rotations and be available to respond to patient needs during nocturnal hours.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine (BC/BE).
- Strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and patients.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to patient needs during nocturnal hours.
- Competitive hourly rate of $200.
- Flexible scheduling, with most physicians working a week on/week off schedule.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as life insurance and short-term disability.
- Matching 403B and optional 457B retirement plans.
- $5,000 CME allowance.
- Malpractice coverage.
- PTO accrual of 80 hours per year.
- Relocation assistance up to $15,000.
- Signing bonus available for multi-year contract.
- H1-B cap-exempt sponsor.
The Nocturnist Physician will be based in a 35-minute drive to Morgantown, WV, and a 1 hour and 45-minute drive to Pittsburgh, PA.
