Job Title: School Year

We are seeking a highly qualified Audiologist to join our team at Palmdale School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing audiological services to students in our district.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audiological assessments and provide recommendations for students with hearing impairments.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address students' hearing needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in audiology.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited university.
  • Valid license to practice Audiology in the state of California.
  • Hold a valid California Rehabilitative Services Credential.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students with hearing impairments.
  • Knowledge of audiological assessment tools and techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
