Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Inpatient Float Resource Level I. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor and record patient symptoms, reactions, and side effects, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Float in one or more areas, including critical care, emergency department, and/or women's and babies, to meet the needs of our patients and the organization.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- BLS certification required prior to orientation completion.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in critical care, emergency department, and/or women's and babies preferred.
