Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to join our team at Lend-A-Loan LLC. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in facilitating the mortgage lending process, ensuring that loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines, and assembling and submitting loan packages to underwriters for approval or denial.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan Processing: Document the loan process from origination to approval through our system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of loan files.
  • Loan File Management: Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies, and assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial.
  • Communication: Liaise between the mortgage lending underwriting department, mortgage loan originators, real estate agents, and applicants to facilitate loan approval.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Demonstrate superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry Experience: Possess experience in mortgage lending and knowledge of loan types, such as FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans, and experience working as a Processor, Underwriter, and/or Client Care Specialist.
  • Technical Skills: Have experience navigating UWM portal and possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work comfortably on the phone.
