Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary professional team to contribute to cutting-edge and innovative surgical procedures.
  • Support research and education for staff and students.
  • Float to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica hospital locations based on patient census and the skills of the RN/Staff.

Requirements:
  • Current California RN license and relevant clinical nursing skills.
  • BSN or MSN degree.
  • BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • 3 years Operating Room experience.
  • ACLS, PALS, and CNOR preferred.
  • Able to circulate and scrub OR cases, ophthalmology experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop/deliver appropriate interventions, involving patients, family, and staff.
  • Exceptional communication, prioritization, organization, and designating skills.
  • Thorough understanding of medical/surgical terminology.
  • Knowledge of EHR charting.

What We Offer:
  • Salary range: $105.48-$105.48 Hourly.
  • May convert to career.
