Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wildlife Conservation Officer to join our team at the Pennsylvania State Government. As a DCNR Ranger, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors and park grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safety and law enforcement services to protect visitors and park property.
• Patrol State Park property and boundaries to prevent and respond to emergencies and accidents.
• Operate various equipment, including automobiles, trucks, two-way radios, GPS units, AEDs, computers, and office equipment.
• Take charge of emergency situations and accidents, providing critical care and support as needed.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and park staff to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of vehicles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
