Early Childhood Educator

At People Incorporated, we are committed to empowering young minds and fostering a culture of learning. We are seeking an exceptional Early Childhood Educator - Infant and Toddler Specialist to join our team at the Buchanan County Head Start Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of infants and toddlers in the classroom.
• Promote school readiness through individualized instruction and classroom activities that stimulate cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve educational goals and model professionalism in work with other staff.
• Conduct regular child assessments and data entry to track progress and inform instruction.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. As an Early Childhood Educator - Infant and Toddler Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and their families.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable certification.
• Training or equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development.
• Six months of experience in an infant and toddler classroom setting.

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
