Beverage Team Member - One Bar Frozen
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring all necessary supplies are provided to the bars and service wells at all times. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, communicate effectively with guests and team members, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, and ensuring that bartenders have clean towels and glasses.
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
- Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs, including taking orders, preparing drinks, and bussing tables.
- Accurately ring up all orders in the POS system while maintaining the ability to socialize with guests.
- Maintain records and report levels of usage to assist in the reordering process and ensure that delivered items are stored properly.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal form.
- Understanding and compliance with all company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain required work cards.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must be able to obtain all required work cards.
Physical, Mental, and Work Environment:
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in an area that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second-hand smoke.
- Constant contact with fellow team members and guests.
