Sigma Healthcare is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at our client's facility in Moberly, MO.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable Speech Pathologist to provide high-quality care for our patients. The successful candidate will perform screenings, assess patient condition, and design therapy and treatment plans to help patients develop necessary speech skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Create individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
  • Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
  • Keep accurate records of patient progress and care plans.
  • Report progress to relevant parties, including family members, teachers, or medical professionals.

Requirements:

  • Effective clinical problem-solving skills, including identifying and prioritizing issues, developing sound action plans, and executing them in a timely manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with diverse populations.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a SNF setting.
  • Flu vaccine.
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Certification in accordance with the American Speech Language Hearing Association requirements.
