Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Acadia Healthcare Inc. as a key member of our healthcare staff. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure patient safety and well-being through timely observation rounds and accurate documentation.
  • Assist with patient transfers, lifting, and turning, as well as obtain vital signs and height/weight measurements.
  • Engage with patients in activities designed to promote treatment goals and reinforce skills learned from nurses, physicians, and therapists.
  • Apply de-escalation techniques to manage patient emotions and behavior, and assist with seclusion and restraints when necessary.
  • Monitor behavioral improvements and report changes to the healthcare team.
  • Provide comfort, dignity, and privacy to patients, and perform related CNA duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care and treatment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or license, per state requirements.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
