As a key member of our operations research and systems analysis team, you will play a critical role in supporting planning, programming, budgeting, and execution within the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply advanced analytical tools and techniques to support leadership decisions in a rapidly changing global environment.
  • Introduce quantitative and qualitative analysis, data analytics, and data science to the military's decision-making and institutional processes.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to develop and apply probability models, statistical inference, simulations, optimization, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Support personnel management, doctrine and force development, training management, system testing, system acquisition, decision analysis, and resource management.
  • Develop and present analytical products and presentations for senior military officials.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as an Operations Research and Systems Analyst (ORSA) supporting PPBE within the DoD.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
  • Knowledge of military training and operations.
  • Ability to develop and present analytical products and presentations for senior military officials.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Army Operations Research or Systems Analysis Functional Area 49.
  • Experience with Army Training management and resourcing.
  • Experience managing an Army Program Evaluation Group.
  • Experience as a military or civilian ORSA action officer on the Army Staff.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Data Science, or Statistics.
  • Graduate of Command and General Staff College or equivalent.

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 annualized USD.
