Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Department of Developmental Services - Headquarters is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join their team at the Stabilization Training Assessment Re-Integration (STAR) Acute Crisis Homes.

Job Summary:

The STAR team provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities during times of acute crisis. As a Registered Dietitian, you will work in a community home setting where you will be responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including meal planning and preparation.
  • Provide emotional support and promote independence in individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Work in a community home setting with a team of dedicated professionals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Valid California Drivers License (CDL) required.
  • Pass a Drug Screening prior to being hired.
  • Clear Background Investigation prior to being hired.
  • Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
  • Registered Dietitian certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
