Job Summary

Coker University is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Visual Arts Director. This full-time, 12-month administrative role reports directly to the Provost and involves leading and supporting faculty and staff, streamlining course offerings and policies, conducting performance evaluations, collaborating with university leadership, engaging alumni and building connections.

The ideal candidate will have a collaborative and results-driven approach and be able to drive revenue growth, optimize facilities, increase enrollment and retention, enhance arts education and public engagement, champion diversity and inclusion, and promote Coker as a community and institutional arts leader.

A master's degree or higher in Arts Administration, Theatre Arts, Music, Dance, or a related discipline is required, along with strong foundational training in one or more of the visual or performing arts disciplines and prior experience in higher education leadership.
