Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Photographer Editor to join our team at Fox Service Company. As a key member of our newsroom, you will be responsible for shooting and editing high-quality visual content for our breaking news and multi-platform content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit high-quality visual content for breaking news and multi-platform content
  • Work collaboratively with other content creators in the newsroom to produce engaging and informative content
  • Must be a self-starter, able to handle live breaking news events, work well under pressure, and maintain all legal and journalistic standards
  • Ability to complete tasks with a quick turnaround for traditional linear newscasts and digital platforms
  • Familiarity with various transmission technologies, including cellular backpack technology, microwave, and news satellite trucks
  • Knowledge of non-linear editing software, Edius or similar platform
  • Ability to set up live remotes and complete other assignments independently as necessary
  • Good writing skills a plus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in journalism or related field preferred
  • Experience as a photographer editor in a medium to large market preferred
  • Familiarity with newsroom computer systems
  • Ability to do some traveling as required
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays as required
  • Must have a valid driver's license
