About the Role

We are seeking a Workday Finance Transformation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance practice, you will work closely with clients to understand their strategic objectives and develop tailored solutions to meet their unique needs. Your expertise in Workday Financials implementation and functional design will be instrumental in guiding clients through the transformation process, from requirements gathering to post-production assessment and enhancement opportunities.

You will have a strong understanding of Workday Methodology and experience leading process re-design efforts, guiding clients to define outcomes and work backward to define the process and cross-functional touchpoints. Your excellent written and oral communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with clients, internal teams, and other stakeholders to deliver a holistic and coordinated solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to understand strategic objectives related to Workday Financials, including requirements gathering, business process and functional design, and data strategy
  • Implement initiatives related to the client's overall Finance Transformation objectives
  • Support clients in all phases of the implementation, including phase 0 readiness activities, health check assessments, phase 1 and X deployments
  • Lead process re-design efforts by guiding clients to define outcomes and work backward to define the process and cross-functional touchpoints
  • Prepare and support clients in delivering Workday Fins training to end-users
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of hands-on Workday Financials functional implementation experience
  • Workday Financials Implementer certification in at least one area (Record to Report, Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay)
  • Strong understanding of Workday Methodology
  • 5+ years of Financials ERP and/or Accounting experience
  • Ability to travel up to 40% and work with remote teams
  • Proven ability to influence a wide variety of audiences - technical and business clients, Finance functions, and all levels of employees
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
