Roles and Responsibilities

As a Companion Care Specialist, you will assist clients in all aspects of home and community life, ensuring safety and promoting independence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing a healthy, supportive bond with clients
  • Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, and maintaining a clean, organized living space
  • Coordinating and attending medical appointments, encouraging consistent exercise, and facilitating social activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferably 1 year of experience working with disabilities (not required)
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • A minimum age of 18
