About the Role

Our client, a leading National Industrial Construction Firm, is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead their construction teams in the Northern Oregon / Eastern Washington area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial and manufacturing construction, with experience in managing self-perform teams, subcontractors, and union labor.

As a Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing daily construction activities, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. You will also be responsible for managing labor relations, implementing safety plans, and preparing daily reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily construction work activities, meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Hold and oversee all Vendor Field Coordination Meetings
  • Update and issue all Project Schedules
  • Manage all labor relations at the site
  • Manage daily implementation of all safety plans and procedures
  • Prepare and issue all field work daily reports
  • Use effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Project progress monitoring and modification management
Requirements
  • 5+ YEARS PREVIOUS CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years commercial/industrial Project Superintendent experience, preferred
  • 3+ years of jobsite leadership experience with a commercial General Contractor
  • 3+ years within Manufacturing/Industrial Construction experience, highly preferred
  • 2+ years jobsite leadership of subcontractors, union, & self-perform teams, preferred
  • Experience leading self perform teams (concrete, ironworkers, carpentry), preferred
  • Possess strong skills and comprehensive knowledge of construction practices & methods
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both on and off the job
  • Calm and rational demeanor, yet strong willed
  • Career history exhibiting steady progression of Authority, Responsibility, Accountability
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred
  • Current CPR/First Aid & OSHA certifications encouraged
  • Background Checks Required
