Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and ensure the integrity of our property in the South Dallas area. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and motivating the maintenance staff, with guidance from the Property Manager
  • Performing property inspections and addressing maintenance needs
  • Following up on service requests performed by the maintenance team
  • Completing work orders in a timely manner based on priority
  • Inspecting and coordinating the make-ready process
  • Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills when interacting with residents, staff, and vendors
  • Maintaining property grounds and common areas to meet company standards
  • Preventing maintenance issues through proactive measures
  • Maintaining a clean and organized shop and work areas
  • Adhering to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred
  • A valid driver's license
  • EPA HVAC certification
  • CPO certification preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • The ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including one weekend per month
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
