About Airable Research Lab

Airable Research Lab is a dynamic and rapidly growing company that specializes in the development and commercialization of biobased products. We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Research Scientist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our commercial partners to develop and customize biobased products that meet their specific needs.
  • Develop and formulate new products with various applications, such as monomers, coatings, polymers, adhesives, surfactants, lubricants, additives, and greases.
  • Design and conduct research activities to identify opportunities for bio-based solutions.
  • Report on research findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain laboratory records and write reports and research summaries as required.
  • Collaborate with non-R&D efforts to support business development and growth.
  • Develop and protect intellectual property related to our research and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, polymer science, chemical engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Background in polymer synthesis, including condensation and free radical polymerization.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of structure-property relations and materials properties.
  • Ability to design materials with desired properties.
  • Experience with bio-based materials, bio-based building blocks, and soy-based product development.
