As a Mobile CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans in a variety of settings, utilizing your expertise to produce high-quality images and provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform CT scans using prescribed techniques, adjusting equipment and selecting appropriate technical factors to produce optimal radiographic exposure.
- Review requisitions to ensure completeness, verifying patient information and exam details.
- Utilize standard positioning techniques to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Select appropriate protocols for each CT scan procedure, ensuring proper levels of density and contrast.
- Perform scanning procedures of various organs to localize sites of pathological processes.
- Complete examinations in a timely manner, ordering IV and oral contrast as needed.
- Document administration of contrast and scan paperwork in Cerner.
- Perform exam completion, complete screenings/consents, and paper scanning in a timely manner.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist.
- Required experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction.
- BLS certification.
- AART certification.
- AART advanced certificate.
- Preferred experience in aspirations/biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and PET/CT.
