Radius Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in Central Vermont. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct ultrasound examinations using various modalities, including general abdomen, OB/GYN, pelvic, transvaginal, breast, carotid/venous studies, and small parts.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and provide emotional support as needed.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, including scanners, transducers, and other related devices.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- ARDMS certification or eligibility, with a commitment to obtaining certification within the first year of employment.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to obtain 24 ECE credits within a two-year period for re-certification.
