Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including ultrasound and X-ray, to help diagnose and treat patients.
Key Responsibilities- Properly assess patients and their abilities to participate in ordered procedures
- Provide clear explanations of procedures, including duration, process, and what to expect following completion
- Select and prepare proper equipment, setting correct technical factors and gathering necessary supplies
- Obtain clear and complete patient histories and record data into patient records
- Perform quality assessments of images obtained and evaluate equipment issues, reporting findings to supervisors
- Ensure all equipment is in working order at the beginning of the day and prior to starting procedures
- Currently enrolled in or graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiology Technology program or post-secondary allied health profession program
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ARDMS board certification within 6 months of hire
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
- Ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
