We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at UNC Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in evaluating patients and developing treatment plans to improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders to determine the best course of treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
- Administer diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Certified Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) as issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Licensed (or licensure eligible) as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
- One (1) year of clinical experience working in Speech Language Pathology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
This is a per diem position with variable hours. The Speech Language Pathologist will work onsite at our facility, providing services to patients as needed.
