Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at UNC Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in evaluating patients and developing treatment plans to improve their communication and swallowing abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Administer diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certified Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) as issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensed (or licensure eligible) as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • One (1) year of clinical experience working in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Environment

This is a per diem position with variable hours. The Speech Language Pathologist will work onsite at our facility, providing services to patients as needed.
