Overview

The Associate Counsel, Privacy and Regulatory Compliance will join our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) legal team supporting product and data privacy compliance issues. This role requires expertise in consumer protection and data privacy laws, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to the DTC digital portfolio.
  • Conduct comprehensive product assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans for areas of heightened risk or problematic issues.
  • Provide guidance on avoiding or dealing with similar situations in the future.
  • Track applicable consumer protection, data privacy, and other regulations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of in-house experience or relevant government position.
  • Working knowledge of US and state consumer protection and data privacy laws.
  • A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
  • Membership in good standing of the State Bar of New York or Washington, DC.

Benefits and Salary

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 (bonus eligible). This hybrid position requires working from the office at least three days per week.
