Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Driver with Passenger Endorsement to join our Transportation Department at Dominican Village Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing safe and courteous transportation services to our residents, while also assisting with the coordination of group activities and maintaining the upkeep of our facility vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation Services: Drive facility vehicles from the community to social and other destinations according to assigned schedules, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
- Resident Support: Assist residents into and out of vehicles in a safe manner, secure wheelchairs to restraining devices, and practice safe driving techniques at all times.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Clean and service vehicles, report and coordinate maintenance repairs, and establish and monitor daily and weekly trip inspection and preventative maintenance programs.
- Emergency Response: Handle emergency situations, provide basic First Aid, and report potentially unsafe conditions to the Concierge Director.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Valid CDL with passenger endorsement.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of driving experience, and knowledge of vehicle preventative maintenance programs.
- Physical Demands: Able to operate a 7-16 passenger bus, change tires and equipment, and lift wheelchairs.
- Background Check: Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Dominican Village Motor Vehicle Record Policy standards.
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with flexible hours.
