Radiopharmaceutical Technologist

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing and administering radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals, to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure accurate and safe administration of these compounds.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols and procedures.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation to capture high-quality images of patients.
- Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to physicians for diagnostic interpretation.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnosis.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- State license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Vocational school graduate with a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
