The Structural Engineer reports to the Director of Engineering and is responsible for independently leading structural planning, designing, engineering, and construction document production. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide planning, consulting, design, and construction services for various municipal, federal, industrial, and other clients over various fields.
  • Prepare detailed structural design drawings and construction specifications
  • Coordinate structural project work with architectural, civil, process, mechanical, and electrical engineering staff

Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil or Structural Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience as a structural engineer
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia with the ability to obtain licensing in other states across the US
  • Experience working with steel, concrete, pre-cast structures, and masonry
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of wind and seismic design, including ability to apply required provisions of the building code
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline project team
  • Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Structural Engineer (SE) license in Georgia is a plus
  • Experience with STAAD Pro, TEDDS, RAM, Autodesk Revit, MicroStation, Mathcad, Bluebeam and/or BIM skillsets
