Job Title: Restaurant Host-Cashier

Overview:

The Restaurant Host-Cashier is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for presenting exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Welcome Guests: Greet guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience.
  • Anticipate Guest Needs: Engage with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to any inquiries or concerns.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Handle Guest Complaints: Handle guest complaints or issues professionally or bring them to the manager when necessary.
  • Table Service: Guide guests to their tables and present them with menus.
  • To-Go Orders: Take to-go orders over the phone and in person.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Provide highchairs and other requested items to the guest, and be responsible for point of sale register and accepting credit cards, cash, comps, or other proper forms of payment for food and beverage orders.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
  • Skills: Organizational skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude, ability to work well in a team environment, and ability to multitask.
  • Availability: Availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays.
  • Language: Must be able to read and write in English and handle math calculations.
