Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops detailed electrical schematics and bills of materials to meet design requirements and specifications.
  • Analyzes electrical designs using simulation tools and calculations to ensure conformance to design requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborates with suppliers, contractors, and engineering services to ensure timely and high-quality product development.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, firmware, hardware verification, and other engineering disciplines, to optimize the overall system design and development process.
  • Designs, builds, and tests rapid prototypes to evaluate new product ideas and technology concepts.
  • Conducts design and debug investigations, and provides support for development, maintenance, failure analysis, and resolution activities.
  • Develops project documentation, including specifications, schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, schedules, and presentations, to communicate electrical design and progress to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and shipping high-volume consumer electronics products with medium to high complexity.
  • Hands-on design experience in analog and digital electronics, including RF, analog, digital, audio, video, power, electromechanical, low power, charging, touch display, and sensors.
  • Experience with x86 PC and ARM architectures, and implementation of high-speed serial buses (PCIe, DP, USB4, Thunderbolt, MIPI) and high-speed parallel buses (memory bus, DDR4/5, etc.).
  • Proficient in high-speed digital design, signal integrity, layout, and power distribution techniques for modern processors.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a solid understanding of core engineering principles, fundamental circuit design, and analytical techniques.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
