About the Role

At Green Thumb Industries, we're seeking a skilled Cultivation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our cultivation team, you will be responsible for providing expert care and maintenance to our cannabis plants, ensuring they thrive in a controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Care
• Topping and bottoming plants to promote healthy growth
• Transplanting and defoliating plants to optimize yields
• Tending to various growing mediums and monitoring plant health
• Scouting for diseases and pests to prevent infestations
• Training plants to maximize growth and productivity
• Adhering to national grow models and standards
• Harvest and Sanitation
• Preparing rooms for harvest and cleaning up after
• Harvesting and processing plants for drying and curing
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities
• Reporting any issues or concerns to management

Safety and Compliance

• Following safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents
• Retaining and understanding department-specific training
• Reporting safety incidents and concerns
• Complying with area safety requirements and state regulations
• Performing record-keeping and maintaining accurate records

Working Conditions

• Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels
• Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds with caution
• Working at heights using catwalk platforms, ladders, and scaffolds
• Exposure to allergens such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; associate degree or certifications preferred
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid state ID
• Ability to obtain and maintain state badging requirements
