Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Watershed Restoration Coordinator to join our team at the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating restoration efforts in the Whychus, Metolius, Crooked and Upper Deschutes watersheds.

About the Role

You will work closely with landowners and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for restoration that address water quality, water quantity, and aquatic habitat needs. Your focus will be on benefiting summer steel-head trout, spring Chinook salmon, and sockeye salmon in the Upper Deschutes sub-basin rivers and their tributaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate restoration efforts in collaboration with landowners and stakeholders
  • Identify and develop restoration opportunities that address water quality, water quantity, and aquatic habitat needs
  • Work with various stakeholders to implement restoration projects
  • Maintain accurate records of restoration efforts and outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
