Job Description

As a Volleyball Coach with Tahoe Truckee Unified School District, you will be responsible for implementing an athletic team program that helps student-athletes achieve a high level of skill and appreciation for discipline and sportsmanship.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for coaching and a commitment to creating a positive and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan that aligns with the district's athletic program goals
  • Recruit and manage a team of student-athletes, ensuring a positive and inclusive team culture
  • Provide coaching and guidance to student-athletes, focusing on skill development and teamwork
  • Collaborate with other coaches and district staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive athletic program

Requirements:

  • Valid TB test and fingerprinting clearance
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • NIAA Concussion Training and Coaching Fundamentals certification
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff

Employment Type: Part-time

Length of Season: August 1 - November 11
