Engineering Trainee

Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Engineering Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an industrial or mechanical engineering program and possesses a strong academic record. While prior experience is not required, familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and MATLAB is essential. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and learn the fundamental responsibilities of an engineer.
• Collaborate with CAD Engineers on various production models.
• Assist with administrative tasks within the office environment.
• Provide support to the engineering team as needed.
• Demonstrate a willingness to acquire new skills.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate project needs.

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to apply academic knowledge in practical settings.
• Solid foundational engineering skills.
• Willingness to work with basic hand tools.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Professional communication skills in person, electronically, and via phone.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, and MATLAB.
• Completion of a Solid Modeling course.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering.
• High GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Desire to learn and develop throughout the internship.
• Professional attire is required.
• Reliable attendance during the internship period.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures.
• Capability to bend and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
• This position is safety-sensitive.
