About This Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Behavioral Health background to join our team at Valley Hospital Phoenix.

This is a PRN position where you will be responsible for coordinating intake/admission, prescribing and evaluating patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinated intake/admission process for new admits
  • Prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members
  • Documents and reassesses patient condition in compliance with facility policy
  • Reports acuities to supervisor for next shifts staffing levels
Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice by the Arizona State Board of Nursing
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility
  • One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 12-65 yrs+
  • One year of med/surge experience
