  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Engage in recreational activities and provide companionship to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with the individual, their family, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with developmental disorders.

Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disorders, preferably in a nanny or caregiver role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with the individual and their support network.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the individual's changing needs.
  • Passion for providing high-quality care and support, with a commitment to promoting the individual's autonomy and dignity.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, with a willingness to obtain additional certifications as required.
