About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Ochsner Health System. As a Clinical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results, which are essential for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including specimen testing, quality control, and calibration of equipment.
  • Collect and process patient specimens, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, patient information, and laboratory procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Current Louisiana license or temporary license as Clinical Laboratory Scientist-Technician.
  • Meets CLIA and CAP requirements for testing personnel relative to scope of duties.
  • Good analytical skills, strong time management skills, and good judgment skills.
