Key Responsibilities:
As a Special Education Instructor, you will be instrumental in designing and executing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique requirements of each student. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and implementing effective instructional strategies customized for each student.
- Evaluating and tracking student progress, modifying teaching methods as needed.
- Working in partnership with general education teachers and other specialists to cultivate an inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Delivering direct instruction and support to students in both one-on-one and small group settings.
- Employing assistive technology and various resources to enhance student engagement and learning.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- A valid Special Education teaching license in New Hampshire.
- Experience working with students with special needs (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to the success and well-being of students.
