Job Overview- Specialty: Respiratory Therapist

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a respiratory therapist in a hospital setting, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of respiratory care principles and practices is required, as well as excellent communication and patient assessment skills.
Compensation PackageThe estimated salary for this position is $105,000 - $145,000 per year, based on 36 hours of work per week and 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop plans to improve their breathing and lung function.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and other diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' respiratory status.
- Administer medications and treatments, such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and bronchodilators.
- Care for patients with various respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
- RRT or CRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Current state licensure or certification to practice as a respiratory therapist.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a respiratory therapist in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care principles and practices.
